Dietitian

We are very fortunate to be welcoming Yan Hin Siu, Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and member of Dietitians Australia (DA) to Miranda Medical Centre on Monday 7th February 2022.

Yan is passionate about nutrition, health and wellness and has more than six years of experience in Nutrition, Dietetics and Research. She has experience in working with complex chronic diseases, food allergies and intolerances in both children and adults, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), developmental disabilities, pregnancy, breastfeeding, dementia and eating disorders*.

Medicare and Health Fund Rebates
All patients with an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program will be bulk-billed
*Patients with an eating disorders diagnosis are eligible for an eating disorder treatment and management plan (EDP) which covers up to 20 dietetic services per calendar year.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment:

  • Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program referral;
  • Medical history summary, and;
  • Most relevant blood tests.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
DVA patients requiring nutritional assessments can be seen in the clinic or in their home environment with the completion of a D904 referral form by their GP.

Private Consultation Fees
For private patients not eligible for an EPC or who have finished their EPC visits for the calendar year, private consultation fees (cash only) are as follows:

  • Initial Consultation: $100
  • Review Consultation: $60
